No Refund Policy
SleepSpan does not offer refunds or exchanges for sleep study bookings or completed studies unless required by law.
Study Repetition for Poor Quality
If a sleep study is determined by SleepSpan's clinicians to be of poor quality, technically inadequate, or clinically unusable, SleepSpan will repeat the study once at no additional cost to the patient.
Exclusions from Refunds
Refunds will not be provided for:
• Change of mind
• Scheduling conflicts
• Personal circumstances
• Cancellations outside of the specified timeframe
Consumer Law Rights
This policy does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law with respect to remedies for major problems with services supplied.
Policy Display
This refund policy is clearly displayed:
• On the SleepSpan website
• During the booking process
• In booking confirmation emails
• In appointment reminders
Quality Criteria
SleepSpan's clinicians assess study quality based on:
• Technical adequacy of recordings
• Data completeness and integrity
• Suitability for clinical interpretation
• Compliance with diagnostic standards
Implementation
Patients will be notified within 5 business days if their study requires repetition due to poor quality. The repeat study will be scheduled at the earliest available appointment at no additional charge.
